6. MAKE REFERENCE OF THE ESSAY
This is a very important skill in writing essays and making student papers. Making reference is a very important skill because it will deal with plagiarism. Plagiarism can be considered as a serious criminal act in the field of education. In general, plagiarism is copying words or ideas of others and pretend that it is hasi our own work. University and universities in general have a written policy on this matter. If you are not sure, try to ask your professor before submitting your essay. Make sure that you have known reference style that suits your university criteria. There are two kinds of reference styles namely the Harvard system (or so-called ‘in text’ referencing) and the footnote or footnotes (usually referred to the Oxford system). Most universities have an example of how the reference system they use. Do not forget to reference the entire book / article you read for your essay.
7. GATHERING ESSAY
At the time of collecting your essay to the lecturer, perhaps you will feel relieved. But before handing it over, make sure that you have filled in your front yard and other purposes.
